Stephanie
Hygienist
Stephanie graduated summa cum laude from Prairie State College in 2017 with an Associate in Applied Science. Her interest in science is what led her to discover her love for dental hygiene. Steph likes to focus on the how and why of hygiene to better help patients understand why good oral hygiene is such an integral part of their overall health. Patient education and comfort are her top priority, as she tries to make each experience as pleasant as possible, all while giving her patients useful information to help upkeep their oral hygiene at home. Stephanie was born and raised in Olympia Fields, but now resides in Schererville, IN. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors as well as with her loved ones. She especially loves spending time with her pomsky, Kira, who loves to relax in her lap while Steph unwinds with a fun game or a good book.
Maureen
Hygienist
Maureen earned her Register Dental Hygienist License at Prairie State College. She believes in creating relationships with her patients, treating each patient with care and respect, and always trying to make their dental visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible. She is passionate about providing the best possible care and educating her patients on good oral health so they have the knowledge to maintain a beautiful smile for life. She is originally from Glendale, California, and officially a Midwesterner since 2005. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, movie nights, and game nights with her two kids and husband.
Jenifer
Hygienist
Jenifer a dedicated dental hygienist, and dental hygiene is truly her passion. After spending several years as a dental assistant, she continued her education and graduated Cum Laude from Prairie State College in 2012 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Since then, Jenifer has been committed to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles in a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Building strong relationships with her patients is one of the most rewarding parts of her career. Jenifer believes trust, compassion, and patient education are essential to excellent dental care, and she strives to make every visit informative, positive, and stress-free. Her goal is to help each patient feel comfortable and cared for while supporting their long-term oral health and overall wellness.
Jenifer is extremely happy to have joined such an exceptional team and look forward to building lasting relationships with patients while continuing to provide compassionate, high-quality care.
In her free time, Jenifer loves spending time with her grandchildren, making memories with her family, and spending most weekends glamping at her summer campground.

Hi, my name is Esperanza which means “Hope”. I’ve been a dental assistant for over 25 years and I love what I do! I love the patient interactions and getting to know the patients and their families too. Patient comfort and satisfaction is always a priority. A little about myself, I’ve been married for over 25 years and we have 3 children. In my free time I love spending time with family, the outdoors and watching movies, to name a few. Looking forward to serving your dental needs!

Hello my name is Tania Palafox. I am a dental assistant at Oasis Dental Spa. I started March 16, 2022 with Dr. Van and Dr. Woo, they're amazing doctors, appreciate everything they do for us . I like to interact with the patients, have communication and try to get to know about their life and what they do, try to make them feel comfortable about being in the dental chair. On my free days I like to relax and get my things done. I enjoy horseback riding. I just got married last year. I live around the area. Hoping to make your dental visit a pleasant one.
Daysi
Assistant
Daysi has been working in the dental field for nearly 10 years as both a dental assistant and front desk. She is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smile. Daysi enjoys building relationships with patients and helping make each visit a positive experience.
Outside of the office, she loves spending time with her children and family, trying new restaurants, and enjoying self-care days whenever she can. Fun fact: she’s also a proud mom of twin girls — so staying calm, organized, and multitasking under pressure has basically become her superpower!
Mashallah
Treatment Coordinator and Administrative Assistant
Mashallah is a dedicated Treatment Coordinator and Administrative Assistant who is passionate about helping patients feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their dental journey. She truly enjoys the financial side of dentistry, from carefully reviewing insurance details to helping patients understand their treatment estimates with clarity, comfort, and ease.
With a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach, Mashallah loves finding solutions that allow patients to receive the care they need while making the process feel as smooth and stress-free as possible. She takes pride in coordinating treatment, answering questions, and ensuring each patient feels valued, respected, and cared for from start to finish.
Outside of the office, Mashallah enjoys peaceful moments outdoors, especially walking and exploring trails with her beloved cat, Minnie. As a proud Palestinian, she carries a deep appreciation for family, compassion, resilience, and community values that naturally shine through in the warmth and care she brings to both her personal life and her work with patients.
